Where To Go Skiing In North America

North America has a large selection of great mountains to go skiing. I decided to compile a list of ski resorts in North America for easy reference. Take a look at these gems. This list is in no particular order and I would recommend Whistler and Mont Tremblant as I have visited both these destinations.

Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada – Located just a short drive from Montreal, you will love the beautiful scenery and friendly people all over this resort.

Keystone, Colorado, United States

Lake Tahoe, California, United States

Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Crested Butte, Colorado

Whistler, British Columbia, Canada – The absolute cadillac of skiing in North America. This is the home of the ski competitions for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and is an absolute gorgeous area. Even if you are not into skiing you have to visit this place atlas once in your life. I rate this place a 10 out of 10!

Aspen, Colorado, United States

Vail, Colorado, United States

Park City, Utah, United States

Jackson Hole, Wyoming – United States

This is a list of completely amazing ski destinations across North America. Others that are also amazing are Banff, Alberta and Revelstoke, British Columbia. If you want great deals on Ski Accessories than click here to access my Top Ski Accessories blog that is full of great deals.

Top 5 Family Resorts

As the March break approaches us and families from all over the world are looking for the great family get away, I have decided to make a list of what I would rank as great family resorts. I have tried some but not all of these resorts. I have ranked them in no particular order.

1) Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.

This resort is absolutely breathtaking and has everything you would want in a vacation. You can swim with dolphins and snorkel with tropical fish. The restaurants are great and for adults they even have a casino. Truly has something for everyone.

2) Beaches Resorts Caribbean.

The Beaches Resorts Caribbean has a very well themed Sesame Street resort. This is perfect for families with children. You will want to take advantage of all the amenities Beaches resorts offer such as waterslides.

3) Nickelodeon Hotels and Resorts Punta Cana.

This is another themed resort that has all the characters of the Nickelodeon family. You can have the Ninja Turtles eat breakfast with your kids, you can get slimed or you can stay in a pineapple villa just like Sponge Bob! My family will be going here very soon so stay tuned for a blog about this specific resort! The resort is part of the Gourmet Inclusive by Karisma Resorts so it is surely going to have rave reviews!

4) Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, Montego Bay

This is quite the wonderful resort and has plenty of amenities for the young and growing family. Whether you want to chill by the beach or relax poolside while the kiddies are off at the kids pool, this resort has something for everyone.

5) Westin and Sheraton at Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort, Grand Bahama.

This resort is a Beauty. It has 4 swimming pools and a number of amenities for the children. The Kids Club will be a hit with all of the kiddies, guaranteed. If you like Golfing then take out the clubs and have a great time because this resort is for you!

One Hour In Lake Louis

With only one hour in Lake Louise we had to zip in and zip out. Lake Louise is a beautiful place to go if you are ever in the Banff, Alberta area. Lake Louis is located about 10 minutes outside of Banff and is located in an extremely convenient location. On our trip to Lake Louise we weren’t even going to go and when we decided last minute to go we ended up getting stuck in traffic. This is one thing about the area, lots and lots of traffic. When we arrived at the parking area we had to go through it twice just to find a spot so if you are going be prepared for the possibility of parking about 15 minutes away. I wouldn’t worry though because there are shuttle buses provided.

This little hour wasn’t to eventful so I won’t bore all you readers with it but what I have to say is that it is an amazing spot for photography. You have the aqua blue lakes with the snow covered mountains and the aqua streams. It is a definite must see if you are in the area as it is absolutely breath taking.
