The Mill Race Festival is unfortunately cancelled this year (2019). Usually the festival would run during the summer and provide a venue for extremely talented folk music artists.

The festival, which had a 26 year run is unfortunately heavily dependent on government funding. The organizers say it won’t likely be back but you never know.

Rock The Mill Music Festival

Rock The Mill Music Festival use to run in the summertime. This festival is usually in the summer time but just like the other festival above they are cancelled. They may continue ion the future under a different name but you never really know.

Cambridge Highland Games

Cambridge Highland Games is a Scottish Festival. This year the festival starts in July 19th.

This festival includes music, drinking, food, games and much much more. You can enter a tug of war contest. If that doesn’t float your boat you can also watch the heaven events.

This is a festival that celebrates the Scottish traditions, kilts and all.

Cambridge Farmers’ Market

What is a town without a Farmers market? Cambridge farmers market is located at 40 Dickson Street in Cambridge. You will also enjoy the company of fresh food while attending this attraction.

Many of the products are locally grown and delicious. You will not want to miss this. Operating since 1830, it is one of Canada’s longest running markets.

Cambridge Centre of the Arts

Cambridge Centre of the Arts is a wonderful community space for all your artistic needs. The centre is on Dickson Street and is open Monday to Friday during the summer months.

The centre is a place that is full accessible and they run numerous programs for people of all ages. You will want to check this place out when you are in town.

The annual Oktoberfest festival is one great big celebration of German Culture. The festival which starts on October 9th and runs through the month of October.

You will be able to explore the German culture and have a stein of good beer while doing so. Listen to the oompapa music until your hearts content.

This is part of the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest which is one of the biggest Oktoberfests’ outside of Germany.
